Wild Spirit Social is a photographic experience allowing for one’s energy to be captured in the living moment! Utilizing a unique aura camera, photographer, Dr. Hilary Cuthrell (PhD) creates individually based sessions to photograph, document and discuss one’s aura.
What can I expect from a Wild Spirit Social experience?
I offer a short, personalized portrait session that includes an instant aura photograph similar to a Polaroid that you can take with you. The camera uses delicate instruments to capture your energy live on film! After the image has been captured, the second half of your session begins: you and I will sit down to discuss and interpret the color imagery that appears in your photo and it’s significance.
Who is behind the Wild Spirit Social initiative?
I’m an academic researcher who enjoys talking to individuals and families about their life experiences. As a researcher, I’ve spent the last decade working in jails and prisons with incarcerated individuals, their young children and justice-involved families. Throughout my work, I’ve found that one’s life experiences and personal narrative contribute greatly to how we connect with one another. Aura photography is one avenue I aim to capture one’s energy in the living moment, and to provide a creative outlet to discuss personal narratives.
